I think during the Summer, I was looking for that perfect day to get outside and work in the hot sun, creating memories and getting stuff done.

It would make no sense for my house, but I still love it.. Aluminum flasing closet doors.from Unpretentious Style.

This one also makes no sense for my house, but this would be so fun in the right room.. Bilfold doors with trim added to make it look like an armoire.found at Funky Junk Interiors.

I wish I had the patience to do this!

This closet really does look like an armoire doesn’t it?.I just had to show you all this change we made in there recently because I can’t believe what a big difference it’s made.. Here’s how the room looks now:.

And here’s how it looked before:.OK, there are a few changes since this photo in April, but I mainly wanted to draw your attention to the mattress.

We used to have a little cheap one on there, from the time she was about 2, just in case of any “accidents”.Well, she never really had any bed-wetting issues, but 5 years later, we still had that sad little mattress.. We put both a new mattress and a box spring on the bed, thinking the extra box spring would be ridiculous, since this bed isn’t really meant to have one, but it actually ended up looking really great.. It’s super-tall, but didn’t they have super-tall beds back in the day when this house was built?
